In a few days or weeks, the QUV can reproduce the damage that occurs over months or years outdoors. Types of damage include fading, color change, chalking, cracking, crazing, embitter limens, strength loss etc. The test data can help in the selection of new materials, the improvement of existing materials or the evaluation of how changes in formulations affect product durability.
